I recently entered a transformation contest. Then I made a mistake. I was focusing for quite a while on how I was able to build muscle and how my sub skin form was doing that I totally spaced that I was also going to need to submit pictures of me to prove that I was making a transformation.

This meant that I was going to need to lose some weight quickly and begin to really show off my new muscle! I waited until the very end of the contest and found that I had 3 weeks, and needed to probably drop about 8 pounds! So what did I do?

Well at the end of the contest I had dropped 7 pounds, in 2 weeks. This is not actually super impressive but a bit higher than I was able to do overall for more of my weight loss journey.

So to answer the question of how to lose weight fast I focused in on how many calories I would eat to maintain my current weight, and then I figured out how many calories I would need to burn to get to my goal weight and divided how many calories I needed to drop to get to my goal weight by how many days I had. Then I subtracted that daily amount from my number of calories that I could eat regularly. This was kind of fun because I actually had to use more calories than I had to eat.

This is normally something that is not recommended but I started to exercise three times a day to burn off extra calories. This let me have some leeway and I was able to stick to things and nearly reach my goal of dropping 8 pounds, and doing quiet well in the contest overall.
