A Nutritious but Delicious Little TreatI love to snack. However, I try not to snack on anything that is unhealthy. I used to eat a lot of chips, but I have found a new favorite snack. I have grown a new love for nut bars. I love those things. I usually keep a few with me whenever I am on the go. I munch on one at work during my break, I eat one on my commute going home, or I might have one when I know that I would not be able to eat a meal on time. What is great about them is that they taste so good and they are nutritious. The nuts are a great source of protein, and one bar can satisfy my hunger until mealtime. I always make sure that I keep different flavors of nut bars around the house so that I can grab one to eat whenever I want.

Towards the end of last week I was admitted to hospital after feeling really faint and then passing out at work. This was really out of the blue and when I came around to find myself in a hospital bed I was very scared as to what had happened to me. It turns out that my cholesterol levels are way too high and this is having an effect on the blood flow around my body. I am going to have to have an operation to reduce the cholesterol that is in some of my arteries tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to this at all. I am going to be off work for two months afterwards in order to recover and will be on a diet that is strictly based around magnesium rich foods as these go a long way to helping reduce the levels of cholesterol inside the body.
